Hunter Van Horn is a 2014 LHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Jesuit HS. Lean well proportioned pitchers build, projects to get stronger. Side step/leg raise delivery, deep arm action in back, tends to drift to the plate with his upper half while his arm catches up. Fastball topped at 90 mph, mostly 86-88, fastball straight with occasional arm side running action when low. Curveball has good spin and depth at times, commands curveball better than fastball and can use to get ahead in counts. Not signed with a college per Perfect Game's records.
