Mickey Gasper is a 2014 C/IF, OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Merrimack, NH who attends Merrimack High School. Has a medium frame with a strong compact build and a strong lower 1/2. During catchers workout, he gains ground while staying online with a good transfer and release. Solid catch and throw prospect, quick and made good throws. Showed good receiving and blocking skills in the games. In the outfield, he stayed online while working through the ball with quick release. Switch hitter. From the left side, displayed a line drive swing plane with pull pop. Right side, showed strength in hands and kept his weight back. At the plate during the games he had good AB's and displayed quick hands with solid extension and showed the ability to hit to all fields. Excellent Student.
