Jacob Crouch is a 2015 3B/1B with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Paul Laurence Dunbar. Tall, strongly built, lean frame and projects to add more strength. Ran a 7.54 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a tall setup and has a high hand setup. Produces hard line drives to the middle of the field and takes an aggressive stroke. Uses a slightly open setup and repeats his swing well. Shows a solid approach and knows how to inside out the ball. Shows solid infield arm strength and moves well to ball. Glove actions needs refinement. Also took the mound, pitch from an over the top arm slot and has a longer arm circle in the back. Tops at 79 mph with his fastball and repeats his delivery. Flashes life through the zone. Excellent student.
