Trey Martin is a 2015 SS/IF, OF, RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Corbin, KY who attends South Laurel. Tall, highly athletic, wiry frame with room to fill out. Ran a 6.65 60 yard dash. Shows athletic infield actions with a plus throwing arm across the diamond. Hands work well and shows good range to both sides. Bats right-handed, works from a slight crouch and carries his hands high. Hits line drives to the middle of the field and uses an aggressive approach. Hustles in game action and has good instincts. Also took the mound, topped at 79 mph on the mound from a three-quarter arl slot. Mixes a 67 mph curveball with 12-6 depth. Flashes a knuckleball. Knows how to mix pitches. High upside position player. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
