Jake Bedevian is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist School HS. Medium athletic build, middle infielder's look. Back turn delivery, cross body release, clean loose arm action, extended 3/4's release slot, some effort on release. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action. Big sweeping breaking ball, can vary speed and break with feel and intent, good spin and some bite, best at curveball velocities and shape. Right handed hitter, big hand drop load, gets to front side well, has quick hands and a short line drive swing, some bat speed and made solid contact, could improve with better load. 7.79 runner, third base actions and tools defensively.
