Tyler Garrison is a 2015 C/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends Mill Valley HS. Very solid athletic build, good present strength. Very sound fundamental catcher, consistent footwork and release, sets up low and shifts well to block, 2.01 best pop times, steady 2.10 in between innings and games, shows leadership skills and a high energy level behind the plate. Left handed hitter, solid hitting mechanics, uses his lower half well to help generate bat speed, fluid swing with lots of juice, stays short to the ball and has good extension out front, drove some balls in games very hard, has power to mid field and the pull side. Performed at a high level on both sides of the ball and stood out. Very good student.
