Daniel Vasquez is a 2013 C/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward HS. Large build, strong well developed lower half. Right handed hitter, shift back load, spread no stride approach, long fluid swing, upper cut swing plane, stays balanced well and hits through the ball, good lift and extension out front, puts the ball in the air and has power potential, will need to shorten up some against better velocity. Good arm strength with solid accuracy, 2.03 best pop time, receiving/framing skills still developing. Very good student, signed with Siena.
