Sheyan Thompson is a 2014 1B/3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Winnsboro, TX who attends Winnsboro. Extra large projectable frame with a strong athletic build. Has a wide base with a slightly open stance and high hands to start. Has a good short swing with lots of power in his bat, shows good extension through the ball, and does a good job of letting the ball travel. Stays inside the ball making solid contact with good bat speed, has lift in his swing and drives the ball the other way well. Has good actions at first base with food feet around the bag, a good glove with soft hands and a extra large frame to throw at for fielders. Is an interesting player to follow and is an outstanding student.
