Colin Bates is a 6'1" 160 pound 2006 corner infielder and outfielder from Warrington, Pennsylvania who attends Central Bucks South High School. He has a tall frame with a lean athletic build that is very projectable. Colin has nice footwork in the field with a solid glove. He makes all of the routine plays. At the plate, Bates goes the other way very well. He has a good swing with good bat speed. He starts with a slightly open stance and has good rhythm with some hand movement. Bates has good game speed which was even better than his 7.21 60 indicated. Colin is also a good student with a 3.1 gpa.
