Jacob Burger is a 2014 3B/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Christian Brothers. Large frame, strong build. Low hand set, uppercut swing path, long stride, good bat speed, strong at contact. Ball comes off the barrel well when squared, has power potential, flashed pop in games including a ball that registered at 90 mph off the bat. Made several nice backhand stops along the LF line to rob a couple of potential doubles while playing 3B in games. Good transfer, solid defensive actions in infield workout, playable arm strength. Very good student.
