Matthew Turcotte is a 2015 C/MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Cedar Falls, IA who attends Cedar Falls. Has a medium frame with good present strength. Has good actions behind the plate with an accurate arm. Good footwork with lateral movement which allows him to block balls well, and receives the ball well. Has developing actions in the infield with arm strength, good soft hands, and a smooth glove. Is a switch hitter from the right side he has a contact approach with a leg raise trigger and a direct swing path. From the left side he has a patient approach with a high back elbow and a level swing. Is a good student.
