Ryan Cole McKay is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Spring Branch, TX who attends Smithson Valley. McKay stands out once he gets on the mound with his 6'5 frame and continues to impress when he showed his loose, whippy arm action. His arm works really well and easily produces high 80's fastballs already and projects for more. Also showed a potential plus curveball with hard bite. He showed good potential with his changeup and already throws it for strikes. Outstanding 3 pitch mix. Extremely high ceiling and showed all the talent and projectionto be one of the top arms in the 2015 class. Also showed bat speed and projectble hitting tools that need to be followed as well.
