Carter Chase is a 2015 2B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Montclair, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory. Smaller, slight build, very wiry and looks athletic. Ran a 7.09 60 yard dash. Flashes good infield actions, looks the part at second base. Good footwork, charges the ball well and can make the play in the whole. Good enough arm strength for the position. Still young, room to get better. Right-handed batter, works out of a narrow stance, cuts off his swing at times. Shows hard line drive contact to the middle of the field, has quality at-bats. Very good student.
