Jimmy Dermody is a 2016 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 187 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein HS. Has a medium frame with an athletic build, clear sign of present strength in body. Posted a 6.96 60 yard dash, moves well on the field. From the outfield, fields the ball out in front generating good momentum through the baseball. Showed athletic actions with short quick arm action on throws with good carry. At the plate, starts with a slighlty open stance, wide base, and high back elbow. Has an opposite field approach on a line drive swing plane. Aggressive at the plate and produces hard barrels when going pull side. On the mound, has a short arm circle in the back throwing from an over the top arm slot. Developing balance and is effective when working down in the zone. Outstanding student.
