Garrett Powers is a 2014 OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from San Angelo, TX who attends Wall HS. Lean athletic build, room to get stronger. 7.23 runner, moves well in the outfield and on the bases, athletic actions defensively, throws have some on line carry. Right handed hitter, big hand load and back side collapse, aggressive swing, upper cut swing plane, power approach, looking to pull, big load leaves him late frequently, improvement offensively will be based on making adjustments to his approach. Very good student.
