David Lanster is a 2015 C/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Ransom Everglades HS. Large athletic frame with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.33 60 yard dash. Smooth transfer behind the plate, long arm action, starts with a low set up, blocks balls well in dirt, accurate throws to second base with arm strength that will continue to develop. Right handed batter, takes a direct path to the ball, quick hands and fast bat, simple mechanics. Loud line drive contact, ball jumps well off barrel, and shows nice ability to hit to all fields. Excellent student. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect Team.
