Brad Malt is a 2006 shortstop/second baseman from Boston, Massachusetts, with a lean and athletic 5'10"/165 pound frame. As a right handed hitter, Brad hits with an open stance and a small stride. He is a line drive hitter that has good bat speed. Malt makes consistent solid contact at the plate with an aggressive swing and good hands. He is an aggressive base runner as well. Brad showed a quick arm across the infield at 72 mph with soft hands. He has good reactions in the field and is solid defensively. Malt is a very good student.
