Eddie Kado is a 2006 RHP with a 6'5'', 190 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ, who attended Notre Dame Prep HS. Kado just finished his senior season. He has a tall, lean, and projectable frame. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm circle on the back side. Kado has solid arm speed with minimal effort, and a balanced delivery. His fastball topped out at 85 mph while working in the 83-85 mph range, and he gets arm side life on his fastball when he throws it in on a right handed hitter. He mixes in a 11/5 curveball at 69 mph with depth and sharpness. Kado also throws a straight changeup at 78 mph with sink at times. He throws all three pitches for strikes, but his curveball is out pitch. Kado even changes speeds on his curveball keeping hitters off-balance. During his 3 innings of work Kado struck out 6 while allowing only 1 hit. He is a very projectable right with good upside.
