Michael Leone is a 2015 OF/2B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Flemington, NJ who attends Hunterdon Central. Medium, strong frame, young look with present strength. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball well out front, short arm action on throws in, shows arm strength with carry that will continue to develop with incorporation of lower half into throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a quiet load, gets hands into a good hitting position at start. Upper half swing, short path to the ball, keeps hands in on swing, gets barrel through the zone, gets to front side early, creates pull side contact.
