Sean Rooney is a 2016 SS/2B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Valor Christian HS. Medium, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Shows good footwork up the middle for his age, quick exchange and release on throws. Short arm actions with some present arm strength and more to come. Left-handed batter, starts with a wide base and an open stance. Swings hard, shows quick hands in his swing with good bat speed. Created line drive contact to the middle of the fields and to his pull side. Flashed some present power which will continue to develop as he gains strength. Good student.
