2005 Northern CA Top Prospect Showcase
Brandon Davis is a 6'1" 165 pound 2007 right handed pitcher and outfielder from El Dorado Hills, California who attends Oak Ridge High School. He has a lean and tall frame and body with room to add some strength. Brandon shows good instincts on the bases and can do many of the little things a coach likes to see done correctly. He ran a 7.78 60 and on the bases he was able to get a good jump on a stolen base and showed some base running ability when he advanced on an overthrow into centerfield with a pop-up slide to get moving to take the extra base. At the plate, Davis has the ability to make adjustments with his hands and shows projectable power. He makes solid contact in the games as well as batting practice.
