Luke Herauf is a 2015 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Dickinson, ND who attends Dickinson HS. Big strong athletic build. 7.53 runner, shows good lateral quickness at third base defensively with a very quick release on throws, especially starting a double play, showed his athleticism well on defense. Left handed hitter, swung very well in games and showed his power potential, has a loose long swing from a deep hand set, fluid stroke with some drift into contact, projects as a hitter. Also pitched, sound delivery with good balance, pitches from the stretch and keeps his mechanics simple, throws strikes to both sides of the plate and hits his spots with a 75-78 mph fastball, makes hitters swing the bat.
