Ian McIntosh is a 2015 MIF/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Newtown, PA who attends LaSalle College High School. Large, athletic frame with nice present strength to his build. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, throws from a short arm action, fields the ball out front well, short steps to the ball, shows some strength and carry on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base with a high hand set and a balanced set up. Barred start, sound repeatable mechanics, generates lift in swing, consistently gets the barrel to the ball with bat speed, creates contact to all fields and shows strength. Good student.
