Chase Robinson is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Pell City, AL who attends Pell City. Large frame, lean build with room to fill. Primary outfield who showed well on the mound and is at least a two-way prospect and may have more upside long term as a pitcher. Hits from an open stance, short to the ball, big backswing to hand load makes it difficult for him to get weight shifted through contact, good hand-eye coordination to make contact in spite of it, can improve with adjustment. Pitches from an over the top arm slot, quick arm, arm works well. Some lower half use in delivery but can get more to create even greater velocity, good downhill plane, mechanics are a bit inconsistent but good at times, occasional extension. Good life on changeup, 12-6 break on curveball and threw it for strikes. Good student, named to the National Underclass Session 3 top prospect team.
