Ian McEachern is a 2016 RHP with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends IMG Academy. Big and strong well proportioned athletic build. Gets good downhill plane from a 3/4's arm slot when working down in the zone. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph early, has touched 90 mph earlier this summer, gets good tailing life down in the zone. Tends to drop slot on his curveball and get on the side of it, sweeping 10/4 shape with occasional depth. Good student, verbal commitment to Baylor.
