Tyler Zickel is a 2014 SS/3B with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Highlands Ranch HS. Zickel has a medium sized frame with a long lanky build. Defensively he is light on his feet and moves through the baseball well. Zickel gets in a good position to field the ball and has good hands. He made accurate throws and has balanced actions. Zickel can throw from multiple arm angles and showed good athleticism. At the plate, Zickel uses a lean back load and rocks in to start his swing. He has some lift in his swing and looks to pull. Zickel swings hard and showed some hitting tools. Solid player with physical projection and solid tools. Good student.
