Tristan Flowers is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends South Forsyth HS. Long wiry body, has plenty of room to get stronger. Solid delivery mechanics, stays tall on his back side with good direction to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot with good downward plane, arm works well out front. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, pitches down in the zone and gets good arm side running action, will work the inside corner effectively. Soft curveball has good 11/5 depth at times with an early break, throws strikes with both pitches and has an idea how to mix. Adding a change up would be beneficial. Right handed hitter, shifts into contact early, rotational upper half swing, has some hand quickness and gets the barrel into the zone on time, line drive contact. Good student.
