Joe Gruszka is a 2016 C/MIF, 3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Starrs Mill. Has medium frame with athletic build. Defensivly, strong arm behind plate reaching up to 78 MPH. Gains ground well with quick feet, could see improvement in 2.00 pop time as actions develop. Has a high baseball IQ and shows the ability to take over game from behind the dish. 7.13 runner. At the plate, left handed hitter that starts with an open stance. Short, quick swing with signs of lift. Swing can get uphill at time. Flashed power potential to pull side. Solid extension with occasional rollover. Good Student.
