Clay Davis is a 2016 3B/MIF/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett HS. Davis has a strong athletic build with broad slopping shoulders. Hits from a square stance, leg lift trigger. Good bat speed, lets ball travel, has strength in swing. Line drive swing plane, drifts into swing some. Gets extended out front. Defensively, good arm strength, hands work well. Ball comes out of hand easy. Shows good lateral range. Also pitched, short compact arm action to a 3/4 arm slot. Gets on top of ball and works low in zone. Curveball has 11/5 shape. Outstanding Student.
