Chase Colding is a 2015 OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Farmington Hills, MI who attends Southfield-Lathrup. Extra large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build. Ran a 7.11 60 yard dash. Speed plays well in the outfield, moves to the ball nicely, sound defensive actions, short arm action, gets on top of throws, shows some arm strength, throws carry well to intended target. Right handed batter, starts from a slightly open base and a low hand set. Patient approach, shows some bat speed in swing, front side occasionally opens early, short path to the ball, has a line drive swing plane.
