James "Matthew" Hebert is a 2016 2B/OF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Atascocita HS. Young athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, early load with good balance, short quick swing mechanics, sound swing fundamentals, hands the barrel well and squares the ball up well, solid mid field contact in batting practice but got more pull conscience in games, hits with confidence and should continue to improve with additional strength. 7.12 runner, soft hands at the ball, short strides and has some quickness, developing arm strength. Good student.
