Robert Hammersmith is a 2015 2B/OF with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood. Hammersmith has a medium frame with room to fill out. As an infielder he showed good fielding actions with good footwork and short arm action and projects to play the corner infield positions. As an outfielder he displayed good arm action, gets on top of the ball well with playable arm strength and online carry. Graded out higher as an outfielder. As a right handed hitter he hit from a wide base with a deep load with an aggressive swing. Kept his hands inside the ball well and drove the ball the other way with consistent contact.
