Chris Schrowe is a 2017 RHP/1B, 3B, SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Ida Baker. Large, athletic frame with a long limbs and a lean, projectable frame with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a quick and loose arm action coming through the back side and repeats it well. Works in the zone well with both pitches, generates cutting action on his fastball that topped at 82 mph and projects for more with incorporation of lower half. Tight rotation on 12-6 curveball with depth when on top and flashed a changeup at 72 mph. Takes short steps to the ball in the outfield, quick arm and gets on top of throws, smooth and fluid arm action with extension out front and good arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright and narrow stance with a high hand set. Long and fluid path to the ball with lift at contact. Shows a nice feel for the barrel with jump off the barrel when squared. Interesting two-way potential to follow.
