Chase Patrick is a 2017 RHP/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Ellaville, GA who attends Schley County HS. Medium athletic build, mature look physically. On line delivery with good balance, long arm action with an extended 3/4's arm slot on his fastball, lands on a stiff front leg, medium effort at release. Upper 80's fastball, gets good running life at times, looks to hit corners to both sides with his fastball and try to spot the ball. Drops arm slot on most sliders to close to side arm, big sweeping break to it, throws to both right and left handed hitters and relies heavily on it, different arm slot detracts from deception. Got nice running action on his change up. Good student.
