Philip Scott is a 2016 3B/3B, MIF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Tulsa, OK who attends Bishop Kelley. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength in build. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows nice footwork to the ball, works through the ball well, easy arm across with a quick release and strength that will continue to develop. Also pitched, works from a high three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. Stays tall on back side, creates extension at release, and works over front side well. Exclusively threw fastball which topped at 76 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and a low back elbow. Barred start, creates leverage in swing with strength off the barrel. Keeps hands in on swing, quick bat, repeats swing well, strong contact to pull side with consistent line drive contact up the middle. Outstanding student.
