Michael Spinozzi is a 2016 3B/RHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Large frame with a strong, mature build. Circles the ball well in the infield, fields at feet, shows arm strength across the infield with accuracy and carry. Right handed pitcher, works from a three-quarter arm slot, full arm circle, able to generate downhill plane, and work low in the zone. Stays balanced, fastball topped at 80 mph, velocity plays up off of his off speed pitches. Has a feel for a changeup at 71 mph and for an 11-5 curveball. Three pitches for strikes. Right handed batter, shows balance in swing, starts from a crouched stance and uses a toe tap trigger. Shows bat speed and creates barrel whip through the zone. Very good student.
