Ryan Ross is a 2014 1B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Yakima, WA who attends West Valley HS. Ross has a medium frame with room to fill out. As a first baseman he displayed good fielding actions with excellent footwork around the base and good arm strength. As a right handed pitcher he threw from a low 3/4 arm slot with long-loose arm action and a clean smooth delivery on the mound with an online finish. As a right handed hitter he hit from a slightly open stance with good balance and strength in his swing. Short-quick swing to the ball and squared up the ball consistently. Excellent Student.
