Carter Kratz is a 2017 SS/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Vermillion, SD who attends Vermillion. Has a medium projectable frame with good present strength and athleticism. Has young developing actions on the infield with good lateral movement. Has good body control at short stop with an accurate arm and will continue to add velocity with maturity and added strength. Starts out tall in the box with a leg drag trigger. Has a nice simple swing that has lift with good mechanics, does a good job of hitting the ball where it's pitched, and has a contact approach. Is an exceptional student.
