Jake Molle is a 2017 C with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Debary, FL who attends University HS. Big and strong catcher's build. Showed good hands behind the plate receiving the ball, very strong arm with a quick release and a short arm stroke, 1.87 best pop time, made accurate throws, can improve his footwork blocking and throwing. Right handed hitter, open stance with a leg lift trigger, gets to his front side, strong swing and can impact the ball hard when squared up, line drive swing plane, pull to mid-field contact when timed up, has the hitting tools to continue to improve. Good student, verbal commitment to Central Florida.
