Brett Sorensen is a 2016 C/1B, 3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Llano, TX who attends Llano. Large, athletic build with a lean and projectable frame and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows a short arm action from behind the plate, arm strength will continue to develop, accuracy improved to second base, wide set up, gets on top of throws well. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and an even stance with a leg lift trigger. Stays short to the ball with a line drive swing plane. Remains short and gets barrel through the zone well with some extension out front, consistent contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Very good student.
