Jason Chang is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Sherman Oak, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Slow paced delivery, tends to lean to the first base side effects direction and balance, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, finishes well out front. Fastball to 78 mph, mostly straight, tends to pitch up in the strike zone with his fastball. Curveball flashes good 12/6 shape and tight spin, can improve consistency in release and use his curveball more frequently. Flashes projectable stuff but key is developing consistency in his delivery and the rest will come. Very good student.
