Hogan Harris is a 2015 LHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends St Thomas More HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Unusual delivery and arm action, severe cross body thrower with tight, compact arm action at release, mid 3/4's arm slot with severe angle to the plate, some drop and drive to the plate, spins off over his front leg, has lots of deception especially for left handed hitters. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 94 mph, ball gets on hitters quickly, mostly straight but can spot the ball glove side surprisingly well for his delivery direction. Big breaking curveball thrown for strikes with hard spin and some bite. Not a comfortable at bat for any hitter. Verbal commitment to Louisiana-Lafayette. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
