Gavin Baker is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Clyde Hill, WA who attends Bellevue HS. Baker has a lean build with room to fill out. As a left handed pitcher he threw from a low 3/4 arm slot with long arm action and a slow-smooth delivery. Had an online delivery, mixed his pitches well and showed good command of his pitches. Can improve as a pitcher by getting on top of the ball. As a first baseman he had long arm action with accurate throws and online carry. As a left handed hitter he hit from a square stance with a wide base and a toe tap trigger. Showed good plate coverage.
