Alexander Scallion is a 2014 RHP/MIF, 3B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Norwalk, CT who attends Brien Mcmahon. Tall, projectable, thin frame with a lot of room to grow. Works from a high three-quarter arm slot and hides the ball well with his front shoulder. Fastball reaches 76 mph and shows running action late through the zone. Pitches aggressively and also mixes an 11-5 curveball. Also played the infield, makes accurate throws and shows quick middle infield actions. Hits from a spread, open stance and shows loose hands. Hits on his front foot at times, but makes hard contact to center field. Squares the ball consistently. Good student.
