Sean Quigley is a 2007 RHP/IF from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA, with a 5'11'', 170 lb. frame. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed and his arm works well. There is a back lean in his delivery with quickness and effort, and he gets good extension out front with his fastball. His fastball topped out at 78 mph with slight arm side life. Quigley mixes in a 66 mph curveball at 12 to 6 with good depth and late break. He has solid control of his pitches, and just gets outs. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a horizontal bat position. Quigley shows good bat speed from a no load approach. He centers the ball well, and he collected multiple hits during his second showcase game. Defensively he made several great picks while playing first base during the games.
