Charley Hesse is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Mendota Heights, MN who attends Henry Sibley HS. Slender young build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, low hand start with a big stride into contact, long approach to the ball, front side tends to fly open early, swings hard, has some raw bat speed but will swing/miss with this approach, has hitting tools to develop with a shorter approach. 7.54 runner, sound fundamentals defensively at second base, fields the ball out front with good footwork, stays balanced, makes accurate throws, can also play the outfield. Very good student.
