Jacinto Arredondo is a 2016 RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Center Hill, FL who attends South Sumter HS. Shorter compact build with good present strength. Simple leg raise delivery, limited lower half turn, late leg kick out, can use strong core and hips to create more velocity, drives hard through release, medium effort, high 3/4's arm slot creates some downhill plane despite height. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has been up to 92 mph at previous PG events, fastball mostly straight but seems to get on hitters quickly. Primary fastball pitcher, mixed in a rare slurve type breaking ball from a lower arm slot. Will need to work on improving his secondary pitches and ability to mix. Not committed to a school at present.
