Aaron Elam is a 2014 1B/LHP with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Ashland, KY who attends Paul G Blazer. Has a strong build with a nice projectable frame. He has a strong accurate arm across the diamond, an arm that works well, good foot work around the bag and does a good job of picking the ball at first base. He has an open stance with a high hand set and a sound approach at the plate. He is short to the ball with lift in his swing, makes line drive contact with good bat speed. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a online balanced delivery. Has a short quick arm action with a short breaking curveball and commands his pitches well. Is a good 2-way player and a good student.
