Kyle Reece is a 2019 OF/MIF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cy-Fair HS. Medium athletic build with some wiry strength and room for more. 6.95 runner, moves well in the outfield and showed range up the alleys while playing centerfield, has a fast and fluid arm stroke, gets very good back spin and carry on the ball and makes accurate throws. Also showed very good defensive actions in the infield where he was light on his feet and quick to the ball laterally, with good hands at the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a quick and short swing, works up to middle to the pull side and has some bat speed with more to come, solid line drive game contact. Interesting young senior who still has plenty of physical projection. Good student.
