Wes Anderson is a 2014 SS/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Duluth, MN who attends Duluth East. Anderson has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. Defensively he has good footwork to the baseball with good actions through the ball. Anderson has quick transfers with a very quick release. He has developing arm strength at 76 MPH and makes accurate throws. At the plate, Anderson starts with an open stance with a high hand set. He uses a small toe lift load to start his swing and has a rotational swing. Anderson tends to get around the ball and he looks to pull the baseball. He has solid contact skills with line drive pop.
